The Special Appeal Chamber (KPA) upheld a vetting commission decision to dismiss bujar Hoti, head of the Durres Appeal Prosecution Office.
The KPA panel delivering the verdict yesterday comprised of Ardian Hajdari, Albana Shtylla, Luan Daci, Natasha Mulaj and Rezarta Schuetz.
The Independent Qualification Commission (KPK) dismissed Prosecutor Hoti on 10 September 2018 for irregular asset declaration and lack of legitimate sources to justify his wealth.
The vetting commission found that Hoti had used false ownership contracts on two apartments in order to get loans from banks, he hid an apartment extension, and unlawfully got 4,000 square meter of public land by the sea.
