The Socialist Party will lose another deputy to the ongoing investigations of the General Prosecution into several members of Parliament in the context of the decriminalization law. Artan Gaçi was one of the five deputies investigated by General Prosecutor Adriatik Llalla for falsifying his self-declaration form.
In a public, Deputy Gaçi announces that he will not be up for re-election.
With these thanks I precede my decision not to candidate myself for a third term as deputy, with the guarantee that my recognition and contribution to the country and the Socialist Party will not end with this decision. On the contrary, the dimensions and spaces for anyone who wants to contribute are endless, which are not conditioned nor can be enclosed only in the hall of parliament.
Tomorrow is the deadline for the parties participating in the elections to provide their finalized candidate lists to the Central Election Commission (KQZ).
