Austrian Airlines has cancelled flights with Albania effective from 16 July until 31 July due to the rise in coronavirus cases.
The announcement follows the Austrian government’s landing ban for carriers from several countries.
Austria also stopped regular flights with Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Egypt, Kosovo, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Great Britain, Sweden and Ukraine.
Passengers whose flights were cancelled can book their flight again or apply for a refund.
Those in transit in Vienna will be provided with another flight with a different carrier.
