Following a last-minute invitation of President Bujar Nishani, Prime Minister Edi Rama and opposition leader Lulzim Basha will meet face to face for the first time since the beginning of the opposition protests on February 18. The meeting is scheduled a 10:00.
Today also marks the deadline of Prime Minister Rama’s “48 hours,” as well as the ultimatum set by the Central Election Commission (KQZ) but later contested by the opposition members of the KQZ.
After meeting a party meeting of the PD yesterday night, opposition leader Lulzim Basha confirmed that he will insist on a caretaker government.
