Chief negotiators of Kosovo and Serbia are expected to have a meeting on Thursday in Brussels, in the framework of the dialogue on normalization of relations facilitated by the European Union.
Peter Stano, the EU Lead Spokesperson for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy confirmed the meeting for Exit News, but did not give any details on the agenda.
“I can confirm that there is an idea to have a meeting at the level of chief negotiators in Brussels, in person, on Thursday,” Stano said.
“We will announce the agenda closer to the date of the meeting,” he stated, explaining that the EU regularly announces the agenda few days before the meeting is supposed to take place.
The last dialogue meeting was held on 29 October.
Back then the two sides disagreed on how to deal with the issue of the Association of Serb-majority Municipalities. It prompted EU envoy Miroslav Lajcak to visit both countries to find a solution.
