From April to June, 270 construction permits have been granted throughout the country, with the majority, 99 of them, in Tirana.
Compared to the same period last year, the number of permits granted has increased by 37%.
According to data from Instat, 99 permits have been granted in Tirana, 38 in Durrës, and 32 in Fier.
Approximately two thirds of the permits were granted for residential buildings, that is houses and apartment buildings, whereas the rest concern commercial and industrial constructions.
Added to the number of permits granted from January to March, the total amount of construction permits reaches 491, that is 65% more than the same period last year.
Though for several years now, bank loans are decreasing and infrastructural taxes have increased, construction permits remain increasing in amount.
