The Special Anti-Corruption and Organized Crime Court has decided to dismiss the case against the three judges who voted in favor of reducing the sentence of Dritan Dajti, the murderer of four police officers, from life imprisonment to 25 years in prison.
The court argued on Monday that there are no elements of abuse of office, ABC News reported.
On September 25, the Special Anti-Corruption and Organized Crime Prosecutor’s Office (SPAK) requested the dismissal of the case for a second time.
It did so in January also, but the judge refused the request and demanded the prosecutor to continue investigations for three more months.
