The National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (IKSHPK) announced that it will organize additional COVID- 19 tests in one of the main squares, “Zahir Pajaziti” in the center of Prishtina.
According the announcement, the testing will take place on December 29 and 30 from between 9:30 and13:00.
Samples will be taken on voluntary basis for citizens wishing to be tested with the PCR method.
The procedure will be done according to IKSHPK protocols by experienced teams.
Recently Kosovo marked a decrease in new cases infected with COVID-19, however IKSHPK called to all citizens to be tested for coronavirus.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, over 50 thousand positive cases have been registered in Kosovo out of over 180 thousand tested. 1317 people infected with COVID-19 have died.
