The Independent Qualification Commission (KPK) has confirmed Durrës Prosecutor Enkeleda Osmani (Xhengo) for duty.
The decision was taken by the vetting body made up of Roland Ilia, Brunilda Bekteshi, and Suela Zhegu.
During its investigation into Osmani, KPK found a significant disparity between the income declared by her husband, and the taxes paid on that income.
Meanwhile, Osmani was positively evaluated on her professionalism and personal integrity.
Osmani concluded her studies at the School of Magistrates in 2004, and has been serving as a prosecutor in the Durrës Prosecution Office for 15 years. In 2019, Osmani applied to become a member of the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecution Office (SPAK) but failed to qualify.
