Yesterday, Temporary General Prosecutor Arta Marku appointed Elisabeta Imeraj as head of the Tirana Prosecution Office.
Elisabeta Imeraj, who has been working at the Serious Crimes Prosecution Office for several years, is one of the investigators in the case of former Minister of Internal Affairs Saimir Tahiri.
Meanwhile, no prosecutor has been appointed to the deputy position after Arben Nela was dismissed by the Independent Qualification Commission (KPK).
Imeraj’s dossier has not yet been opened by the KPK as she was not part of the priority list.
