The EU has donated 5 ambulances, 15 mobile ventilators and more than 100 specialized medical units to the Albanian government to treat severe cases of coronavirus.
This is the second part of EU aid for the country’s hospitals in support of the fight against coronavirus.

“The European Union is the biggest donor in the fight against coronavirus in Albania, with 50m euros in grants to support the health system and socio-economic recovery and 180m euros in loans for macro-financial assistance,” the EU ambassador wrote on Twitter.
He also called on people who “respect the rules” in order to win the fight against COVID-19.
