Europol Operation Dismantles Illegal Coronavirus Medicine Trafficking Networks

A coordinated Europol operation that spanned 27 countries, including Albania, has yielded 667 arrests, 25 busted criminal networks, €74 million seized, and 10 shut down labs.

The operation was intended to curb the illegal trafficking of unauthorized COVID-19 medicine and tests.

EU Ambassador to Albania Luigi Soreca congratulated the success of the operation, sharing a video of the medicine and tests confiscated by Europol.
