The High Prosecutorial Council (KLP) has provided the family of prosecutor Arjan Muca with police protection following last night’s bomb attack against his car.
It came after the prosecutor’s request earlier today to be provided with protection as he felt threatened due to his work.
In a statement on Friday, the KLP called the attack a “terrorist attack against the justice system” and called for swift investigations.
Prosecutor Muca’s car was blown up with explosives in a parking lot in Tirana last night.
In late 2019, a Vlora prosecutor’s car was blown up, and another prosecutor in Durres was shot in his car.
