Former Prime Minister of Kosovo and the leader of opposition Vetevendosje, Albin Kurti had a phone conversation with the Special Representative of European Union for Prishtina- Belgrade dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak.
“We discussed various topics that need to be resolved, especially the fate of all missing persons,” Kurti wrote on Twitter on Monday evening.
He added that he thanked Lajcak on the EU’s supportive role in the dialogue and agreed that citizens should be the ultimate beneficiaries.
“I reiterated that the dialogue should be principled, well defined and should settle all disputable issues between Kosova and Serbia,” Kurti said.
A meeting between the chief negotiators of Kosovo and Serbia is expected to take place on Thursday in Brussels, but no details about the agenda are known yet.
The last dialogue meeting was held on 29 October.
Back then the two sides disagreed on how to deal with the issue of the Association of Serb-majority Municipalities. It prompted EU envoy Miroslav Lajcak to visit both countries to find a solution.
