Government Forgives Lockdown and Pandemic Fines

The government has decided to forgive all fines levied against the public for violations of the normative act during the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown.

This will include those caught violating the curfew imposed during March and April as well as those who did not wear masks inside. It will apply to any fines given between 17 April 2020 and 7 October 2020.

The government has also decided to pardon fines given to citizens who repaireed their homes following the two 2019 earthquakes, without the necessary permits.

All those that have already paid the fines, will recieve them back.
