Half of Votes Counted in Kosovo, Vetevendosje Leads with 48%

The Central Election Commission has counted 53 percent of votes until 10 pm on Sunday.

The turnout was 47.08 percent of those eligible to vote, which marks the largest participation in parliamentary elections since Kosovo declared independence in 2008.

Following are the official results as they appear on the website of the Central Election Commission and party leaders during the campaign:

  • Vetevendosje of Albin Kurti – 48,17 percent
  • Democratic Party of Kosovo of Enver Hoxhaj  – 18,32 percent
  • Democratic League of Kosovo of Avdullah Hoti – 13,65 percent
  • Alliance of the Future of Kosovo of Ramush Haradinaj – 8,03 percent
