Kosovo held its sixth Pride on Thursday, as members of the LGBTI+ community, activists, and allies gathered in Prishtina to celebrate the occasion.
Organizers told Radio Free Europe that theme for the 2022 Pride “Edhe n’shtet, edhe n’familje” (roughy translated to “Both in public, and at home”) is reminder that while silenced, members of the LGBTI+ community live everywhere in Kosovo.

The Parade was also attended by the European Union Delegation in Kosovo that praised the event on Facebook:
“The EU staff in Kosovo are proud to have joined today’s Pride Parade in Pristina alongside LGBTIQ 🏳️🌈 community members, human rights activists, 🇽🇰 institutions, and diplomatic corps,” they wrote.
