International Flights Resume from Albania with Restrictions for Non-EU Citizens or Residents

As from today, supposedly international flights will resume from Mother Teresa Airport in Albania. Only EU citizens and those with European residence permits will be able to travel. Albanian citizens or those from a non-EU or Schengen country continue to be limited.

The flights confirmed for today are:

Tirana- Athens return

Istanbul- Tirana

Tirana- Milan

Tirana-Belgrade return

Tirana-Vienna return

Tirana- Venice return

Tirana- Florence return

Some residents hoping to travel from London to Albania had their flight cancelled at the last minute. They were told that the Albanian government had cancelled all inbound flights from the UK until further notice- an estimated minimum of two weeks.
