Children killed during the Kosovo war were commemorated on the 21st anniversary of Kosovo’s liberation with 1133 newly planted flowers.
Speaker of Parliament Vjosa Osmani and Kosovo MPs participated in the planting ceremony on Friday, June 12.
Osmani also proposed that a seat in Kosovo’s parliament be permanently reserved for the children killed at war “whose dreams of life were interrupted.”
She called for unity in order to achieve peaceful stability in the region and defend Kosovo’s territorial sovereignty.
