Kosovo’s acting Minister of Finance, Hykmete Bajrami said on Tuesday that the government of Kosovo has set aside EUR 40 million for the provision of the COVID-19 vaccine.
She said the pandemic crisis will continue into the next quarter of 2021.
“We reflected on the cost of the vaccine, EUR 40 million plus external funding for the cost of the vaccine to buy doses for all citizens of Kosovo,” she said.
She urged MPs not to propose additional amendments due to lack of budget.
“The government already has exhausted all ways of financing. The government has no other additional means,” she said.
