Kosovo Police Arrest Mayor and His Deputy for Abuse of Office  

The Kosovo police arrested the Mayor of Istog Haki Rugova and his deputy on Friday, following a prosecutor’s orders.

Kosovo-based Kallxo.com reported that they were detained on suspicion of abuse of office, conflict of interest and forgery of documents.

Haki Rugova is also the vice president of the ruling party, the Democratic League of Kosovo.
