Representatives of the Serbian List (Srpska Lista), led by Goran Rakic submitted on Friday the list of names of candidates running for the snap parliamentary elections in Kosovo.
Rakic told media that there are twenty candidates on the list who according to him are the best and backed up by Serbia’s President, Aleksandar Vucic.
“Behind these people on the Serbian List are the results. What is most important is that behind the Serbian List, as well as behind the Serbian people, stands President Aleksandar Vucic and I am deeply convinced and I know that the Serbian List will win all 10 seats,” Rakic said, the news agency Kosova Press reports.
20 seats out 120 of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo are reserved for national minorities; ten seats for the representatives of Kosovo Serbs, four for Romani, Ashkali and Egyptians, three for Bosniaks, two for the Turks and one seat for the Gorans.
Snap parliamentary elections in Kosovo are set to take place on February 14. Saturday is the last day when political parties can submit their list of candidates at the Central Election Commission.
