The government of Kosovo had allocated €1 million for the feasibility study of a railway to connect its capital Prishtina with Albania’s seaport city of Durres.
Minister of Infrastructure Liburn Aliu presented the project to the media on Thursday, following an agreement between the Kosovo and Albanian governments in a joint meeting two weeks ago.
The Albanian government has allocated the same amount of money for its part of the project, Aliu said, adding that the EU had presented the project also.
