The COVAX global initiative for the distribution of COVID-19 vaccines will deliver 100,620 thousand Pfizer/BioNTech doses to Kosovo within June.
A list published by COVAX on Monday shows 146 countries that will benefit from the third round of vaccine distribution between in the April-June period.
Kosovo is yet to receive the allocated 100,800 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine through the same facility, of which it has received only 24,000 doses in a first and only shipment. The remaining supply should arrive until the end of May.
The last country in Europe to receive vaccines, Kosovo started vaccination of health staff two weeks ago.
