Kosovo’s two opposition parties, Vetevendosje (LVV) and Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) have slammed Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti’s invitation to discuss the dialogue with Serbia.
On Wednesday, Hoti called for a meeting of party leaders tomorrow at 11 am through a Facebook message.
“This government is illegal. It has neither credibility nor legitimacy. Its invitation […] has not reached us, and they don’t need to send it,” Vetevendosje’s Spokesperson Arlind Manxhuka wrote on Facebook.
PDK also slammed the invitation for being “not serious”, and done “without prior consultation”. They said it shows that tomorrow’s meeting will fail due to lack of coordination.
A delegation will represent Kosovo in talks with Serbia at the White House on June 27. The agenda of the meeting and the representatives for each country are not known yet.
