Today the Independent Qualification Commission (KPK) announced the dismissal of Artan Laze, judge at the Court of First Instance in Tirana and candidate of the High Judicial Coucil (KLGj).
According to the KPK there were irregularities in Laze’s asset declaration related to several apartments he owns.
In his defense, Laze highlighted the threats he received from criminals as judge and that that “should be taken into account.”
