KPK Starts Vetting of Serious Crimes and Appeals Courts

In a press release, the Independent Qualification Commission has announced the opening of 36 dossiers. From the Serious Crimes Prosecution, 16 prosecutors will be vetted, with an additional 20 judges from the Appeals Courts of Tirana, Shkodra, Durrës, Korça, Gjirokastra, and Vlora will also be added to the vetting list.

In total, the KPK has currently 149 pending cases, while 62 have so far been closed.
