KQZ Vice Chairman Hysen Osmanaj Resigns

Today Vice Chairman of the Central Election Commission (KQZ), Hysen Osmanaj, resigned from his function. He will continue as a regular member of the commission.

It is expected that Denar Biba, the former Chairman of the KQZ who had to make way for Klement Zguri after the McAllister+ agreement, will take his place. As both Zguri and Osmanaj belong to the same right-wing faction of the KQZ, Osmanaj’s resignation and Biba’s nomination as new Vice Chairman is supposed to restore the balance in the institution.

Osmanaj has been a member of the KQZ since 2012.
