The website of the Central Election Commission (KQZ) as well as several other government institutions has remained offline after a cyberattack.
According to Opinion, the attack has been claimed by Anonymous Albania through their Twitter channel as part of their call to boycott the elections, but the tweet has since been removed.
In May, the Anonymous Albania collective had already called for a boycott of the elections.
