A magnitude 4.5 on the Richter scale earthquake rocked Tirana on Monday, at 15:21. The quake’s epicenter was in the Adriatic Sea, 34 kilometres northwest of Tirana.
Smaller scale earthquakes hit Tirana and Durres last night. At 01:52, a magnitude 3.2 quake had its epicenter 28 kilometres west of Tirana.
Albania was hit by a deadly earthquake in November 2019.
