Through a post on social media, the Ministry writes that three simple steps can prevent the spread of COVID-19:
- We need to avoid congestion, maintain physical distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
- The protective mask is already a universally accepted tool in this case.
- Frequent hand washing and disinfection prevents SARS-COV2 infection.
The ministry also advises citizens to always carry a mask, disinfectant, hand washing, personal water bottles, napkins and vitamin C.
172 people have died in the last five weeks which is equivalent to 30% of the death toll since the start of the pandemic. 501 new cases were found yesterday- a record high- bringing the total to 24,206. 44% of all cases have been found since October 1.
