This week, the Albanian Ministry of Health will decide when serological tests for COVID-19 will start on citizens.
The news was announced by Minister of Health, Ogerta Manastirliu.
Serological testing is done by testing the blood and it shows if the person has antibodies for COVID-19. It is usually an indicator as to whether the individual has had the infection.
While speaking on TV show ‘Open’, the Minister also denied the rumour that a doctor has died from COVID-19.
“It is false information, we are very sorry. We appealed to the media to refer to official sources. Take care that the information comes from official sources,” she said.
