The Ministry of Health has appealed to citizens to avoid visiting their hospitalized relatives in order to lower risks of coronavirus infections. It also advised senior citizens to avoid health centers.
In today’s press conference, the Ministry asked citizens and businesses to observe security protocols designed to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
According to the Ministry, the surging numbers of coronavirus infected cases come as a result of citizens becoming increasingly careless in respecting coronavirus preventative measures, including social distancing and using facemasks.
Citizens can call 127 if they start displaying coronavirus symptoms, and 0800 40 40 for psychological counseling.
