Minister of Justice Gazmend Bardhi has ordered an administrative investigation of the work of the Immovable Property Registration Offices (ZRPP), based on claims of Prime Minister Edi Rama and LSI Deputy Chairman Luan Rama about the possible political obstruction of providing property certificates to home owners.
On Sunday, Prime Minister Rama had claimed that 40,000 citizens could not take their certificates, because the ZRPP is owned by the LSI.
In Vora, 3,000 families that received a permit cannot get their certificates. The ZRPP offices are blocked by the baking tray.
In response, Luan Rama declared in a press conference that the majority of the ZRPP offices was in the hands of PS, not the LSI.
Allow me to clarify the fact that the ZRPP in Tirana, in Durrës, Vlora, Elbasan, and 80% are owned by people nominated by him [Rama]. I invite the 3,000 families in Vora to present themselves tomorrow at the ZRPP Tirana to take their property certificates because the person I’m taking about has the entire baking tray.
