Yesterday evening, Report TV released new poll numbers for the parliamentary elections of June 25 on a national level as well as Tirana County, whose voters will elect 34 of the 140 mandates in Parliament.
The poll was held by the Italian firm Piepoli and was based on 800 telephonic interviews.
Different from the IPR/Ora News poll published on May 31, Piepoli predicts a surge in PS votes, with losses for both the PD and LSI. What should be kept in mind when comparing both polls, is that Ora News is generally assumed to be in the sphere of influence of the LSI, whereas Report TV, owned by Carlo Bollino, is one of the main mouthpieces of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
In the Piepoli poll 14% of the interviewees indicated to be undecided, for IPR it was 15.5%
Piepoli will publish weekly polls until the elections. IPR/Ora News is expected to publish a new poll tonight.
