Tomorrow, on April 19, while the general population is under mandatory lockdown, only mothers and children up to 10 years old will be allowed to go out on walks until 11am.
Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama announced the government order on Facebook, and reminded mothers to maintain social distancing and avoid group outings.
“All fathers, children over 10 and old people stay home until Monday, 5 am,” Rama warned.
On Friday afternoon, extended restrictive measures went into force, prohibiting citizens from leaving their homes from April 17 at 5:30pm until Monday, April 20, at 5am.
After being ordered by the government to stay strictly inside during the previous few weeks, senior citizens were allowed to go out on walks today until 11am.
