Parliament has today approved the four new ministers proposed by Prime Minister Edi Rama.
- Fatmir Xhafaj was approved with 76 votes as Minister of Interior Affairs
- Eduard Shalsi was approved with 76 votes as Minister of State for Local Government
- Ogerta Manastirliu was approved with 79 votes as Minister of Health
- Olta Xhaçka was approved with 79 votes as Minister of Social Welfare and Youth.
Parliament also approved the dismissal of the four previous ministers, Tahiri, Çuçi, Beqaj, and Klosi.
Speaker of Parliament and leader of the LSI Ilir Meta was absent from the session, instead choosing to attend an activity of the Order of Veterinarians. The two deputies of Libra, Ben Blushi and Mimoza Hafizi abstained from voting.
The vote happened in absence of the opposition, which continues its boycott of Parliament.
