On Friday, Tirana Police arrested Dhurata Saliaj, daughter of Merxhin Picari who murdered his son-in-law near the Court of Tirana earlier that same day.
Dhuarata Saliaj is accused of aiding her father in the murder of her ex-husband. According to the Police, Dhuarat Saliaj was also present in the coffee shop where the murder occurred on Friday morning, along with their oldest son.
During the shooting, Adriatik Cama, the victim’s lawyer, was also wounded, but is currently out of danger.
The police are reporting that the murder occurred for reasons related to the couple’s divorce proceedings.
