Every honest and hard-working Albanian desire more hope and deserves welfare, but also help, support and support, to build a decent life and a secure future in our Homeland, according to President Ilir Meta’s New Year’s message.
In a statement published on his official website, Meta spoke of leaving the frustrations of 2019 behind whilst sincerely reflecting in the hope of being closer to Europe and its standards.
“Each of you deserves more positivity, a fairer Albania, more loving, more compassionate and more humane. And this first of all requires an inclusive and united Albania, always guided by national and public interest,” he said
Meta added:
“The nation-wide solidarity we showed after the tragic earthquake is a solid, enduring foundation that inspires us all and gives us confidence in the challenges ahead. Let 2020 be the year of change!”
