Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti has dismissed Rashit Qalaj, the General Director of the Kosovo Police.
A press release issued by Hoti’s office on Friday stated that the dismissal was based on Qalaj’s poor performance.
“In accordance with the legal competencies and based on the performance report for the director of the Kosovo Police, today the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Avdullah Hoti has dismissed Mr. Rashit Qalaj from the position of General Director of the Kosovo Police,” it read.
