On Thursday, the Public Commissioner (KP) appealed a decision by the vetting commission that confirmed in office appeals prosecutor Ludovik Dodaj, member of the Justice Appointments Council (KED).
The Independent Qualification Commission (KPA) was found to have not conducted an in-depth investigation into all three assessment criteria for Dodaj: assets, background and proficiency.
The KPA confirmed Dodaj in office on June 8, arguing that they found no issues in any of the three criteria.
Dodaj has been working as a prosecutor at the Durrës Court of Appeals since 2002.
He was elected KED member by lot in December 2019.
