The Public Transport Association has requested the vaccination of employees along with other priority groups.
In a letter sent to Prime Minister Edi Rama and Minister of Health Ogerta Manastirliu, the Association said that urban transport workers face the risk of infection every day.
“They are in constant contact with different people, so we ask for their vaccination with risk groups”, reads the letter of the Association.
Vaccination in the country began in January with the vaccination of doctors, then with people over the age of 80, and continuing with teachers. While last week began mass vaccination of the population over the age of 70 years. Yesterday, the vaccination of field journalists started and today the vaccination of police officers starts.
