Prime Minister Edi Rama has stated that the first injections of the anti-COVID vaccine in Albania can start before the deadline planned by the government.
During the meeting of the Inter-Ministerial Committee of Emergencies, the Prime Minister said that he hopes to exceed the forecast made a week ago for the administration of the first doses of vaccines.
“I hope we will start injecting in our country starting with the doctors and nurses before the deadline we have stated.”
On January 1, Rama announced that the first 10,750 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine would arrive in Albania in the third week of January.
