Rama Nominates Four New Ministers

Today Prime Minister Edi Rama nominated four new ministers, Fatmir Xhafaj, Olta Xhaçka, Eduart Shalsi, and Ogerta Manastirliu, in the positions vacated yesterday.

Fatmir Xhafaj, the current Chair of the permanent parliamentary committee for legal issues and the parliamentary ad-hoc committee for judicial reform will replace Saimir Tahiri as Minister of Interior Affairs.

PS deputy Olta Xhaçka will replace Blendi Klosi as Minister of Social Welfare and Youth.

Eduart Shalsi, the chair of the parliamentary committee for trade and environment will replace Bledi Çuçi as Minister of State for Local Government.

Director of the Mother Theresa University Health Center, Ogerta Manastirliu, will replace Ilir Beqaj as Minister of Health.

The decision of Prime Minister Rama was made public today after the meeting of the parliamentary group of the PS.

Xhafaj, Xhaçka, and Shalsi will not give up their mandate as deputy.
