Sources in Brussels have confirmed as much for Radio Free Europe. According to RFE, this move on Belgrade’s part was made in order to create a warmer atmosphere for the dialogue with Kosovo to resume.
In March, the Kurti government urged the US and EU to increase pressure on Serbia to stop its derecognition campaign against Kosovo. In response, Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic insisted that Serbia would continue its campaign until they reach an agreement.
