Saudi Arabia has donated medical supplies including 23 ventilators to aid Albania in its fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. The donation came from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).
The supplies were delivered by the Saudi attaché at the embassy in Tirana, Mohammed bin Rashed Al-Hadithi to government officials.
“Al-Hadithi said that KSrelief was committed to assisting people in need around the world. Led by King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Kingdom is exerting efforts to confront the coronavirus by promoting charity work and helping those affected by the pandemic,” Arab News reports.
Earlier Albania adapted visa-free travel for summer season, from April 01, 2021 to December 31, 2021, for the citizens from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Egypt, India, Russia and Thailand.
