Serbia Receives Russian ‘Sputnik-V’ Vaccine

Serbia has received 2,400 Sputnik-V vaccine doses from Russia on Wednesday, local media reported.

Minister of Health Zlatibor Loncar announced that they are testing the vaccine, and results are expected in January.

The country was one of the first to start vaccination with the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, on December 24th.

President Vucic has stated that his government is in talks to receive China’s Sinopharm vaccine and the US Moderna vaccine.
