The head of the PS parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, submitted to the Assembly on Wednesday the request for the establishment of a Special Commission for the report of Dick Marty.
The purpose of this commission is to analyze Marty’s report and the role of some Albanian politicians in KLA activity in Albania.
This commission will last 3 months and will come up with a final report on the above issues.
The proposal came after debates between Prime Minister Edi Rama and DP leader Lulzim Basha over Dick Marty’s report. Rama has been criticised for his politicisation of the matter, by Director of Human Rights Watch Lotte Leicht.
