704 people have undergone investigation by the Special Prosecution Office Against Corruption (SPAK) during the last year.
In an official statement, SPAK announced that 255 people were investigated for criminal acts relating to organized crime, whereas 209 people were investigated for criminal acts relating to corruption.
During a year, 59 trial requests were filed with the Special Court. Of them, 16 were related to organized crime, and 39 were related to corruption.
SPAK requested a halt in investigation for 39 people: 5 for organized crime, and 23 for corruption.
Special Courts have delivered a total of 57 rulings, 36 of which were given by First Instance Special Courts, and 23 by the Special Appeals Court.
