Yesterday during the Opinion television show, journalist Artan Hoxha claimed to have been threatened via text message by unknown persons living in the UK.
Hoxha claimed that said persons were aware of, and had photographed his daily movements. He denounced these activities as organized crime and said he had filed a police report regarding them.
Hoxha revealed the text of the messages he received during his appearance. In the text, expletive-laden threats were made in retaliation to the alleged smear campaign Hoxha and his television channel were directing towards the sender’s “family,” that has been “unfairly dragged into politics after one picture.”
During the same appearance, the journalist was also among the targets of Prime Minister Edi Rama’s insults, who alleged Hoxha was on drugs.
